On May 14th between 7am and 12pm the association is holding its annual Community Garage Sale and Dump It Day. Your Board of Directors has arranged for garage sale advertisements and signs to be posted. All that you have to do is set up shop on your driveway.
After the sale bring your unwanted items to the corner of Lavender and Silverbell where we will have an area for you to dump or donate them. Please be sure to visit our information table while you are there.
Also, be respectful of your neighbors near the dumpsters. No dumping after 10pm and do not overfill the dumpsters. |

Thank you for your patience during that brief delay while the LavenderGlen.org website was unavailable.
We changed domain registrars in order to save you money.
We got 5 years with our new registrar for the same price as we would have paid for 1 with our old one. |

Thank you to Erin, Joe, Lori, Amy, Cathy, Donika, Julian, Frank (Nature Walk) and anyone else whom I missed for coming out last Saturday for the first Adopt-A-Highway cleanup of the season.
Together we collected:
23 bags of trash
6 tires
2 mattresses
2 bags of recycling
1 rug
1 aquarium
1 washing machine
1 possum skull (we named him Bob)
Also, we would like to extend a special thank you to Stacy from Keep Athens-Clarke County Beautiful (KACCB) for providing supplies and arranging for the pile to be picked up. |

The Georgia Water Stewardship Act went into effect statewide on June 2, 2010. It allows daily outdoor watering for purposes of planting, growing, managing, or maintaining ground cover, trees, shrubs, or other plants only between the hours of 4 p.m. and 10 a.m.
Outdoor water use for any purposes other than watering of plants, such as power washing or washing cars, is still restricted to the current odd/even watering schedule.
Odd-numbered addresses can water on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
Even-numbered and unnumbered addresses are allowed to water on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Please call the Athens-Clarke County Water Conservation Office at 706-613-3729 for more information.

Please lock your doors and keep a watchful eye out for our neighbors and neighborhood. We have had an unsuccessful break in attempt in one of our cul-de-sacs.
Help keep our community safe!

It’s that time of year for some Spring Cleaning. Let’s work together to keep our community clean, safe and attractive.
- Dump It Day – Residents only
- Lavender Glen Neighborhood Garage Sale
- Donate It!
Dump It! Lavender Glen residents only- There will be large dumpsters at 104 Silverbell Trace to dump your unwanted or broken things. This includes couches, old furniture, tires, old paint cans, etc. NO RAW GARBAGE (bagged or not) and NO TREES! Sell It! Have a garage sale! We will be placing an ad in the Athens Banner-Herald and will also post signs the day of the Garage sale. Donate It! Didn’t sell it? Then donate it! We will have a charity group coming to pick up any items you may want to donate. That will be located at 104 Silverbell Trace. Please drop your donations by the dumpster and we will make sure they are picked up. This is a service being provided by Lavender Glen Homeowners Association. |
